Zinc polishing

Zinc is a brittle bluish white metal. High-grade zinc is used for steel galvanization, in zinc alloys, in the manufacture of semi-finished products made of zinc and brass. Zinc-based alloys, which are applicable for pressure casting, contain alloying elements in the following ratio: 3,5-6% aluminum, maximum 1,6% copper and 0.05% magnesium. They are also applicable for casting in chill or sand molds. Zinc alloys are used in the manufacture of small parts in motor industry and in other branches of mechanical engineering and apparatus building, where specific strength requirements do not exceed the values ​​shown in the table below.
